Rapidly dissolving iodine-free tablets that can be used over the long term with no adverse effects. They are safe for adults (including pregnant women) and children.

Aquatabs® are effective against Travellers’ Diarrhea, Giardia, faecal coliforms, Cholera, Typhoid, dysentery and many other waterborne diseases including Hepatitis A & E and Salmonella. They have not been proven effective against the cyst cryptosporidium. Be sure to use an additional filter if cryptosporidium is suspected.

  • In normal use with clear water, each tablet treats 1L of water. Cloudy water or water containing organic material, may require an additional tablet.
  • Requires 30 minute contact time with water.
  • No odour, nor colour, and will not stain plastic bottles.
  • Approved and used by international aid agencies including: NATO, WHO, Unicef, International Red Cross, Medecins Sans Frontieres, and Oxfam.

Active ingredient: sodium dichloroisocyanurate (source of chlorine), certified to NSF / ANSI Standard 60.

Our compostable mailers are made from a combination of PBAT, a bio based polymer which is compostable, and PLA which is made up of plant materials such as regular field corn and wheat straw. Our use of PLA makes up barely 0.05% of the annual global corn crop, making it an incredibly low-impact resource.

The bags are certified by the leading authorities worldwide; meeting American, European, International and Australian standards – including certifications for your domestic home compost. To gain these certifications, the product must break down within 90 days in commercial compost and 180 days in domestic compost conditions, including worm farm compost. After degradation, they must leave no harmful residues behind.
