Can Skin Hero be combined with a Vitamin C cream or serum?
Yes, Skin Hero can be used with Vitamin C, including our Dew Drops Serum. Layering active ingredients can potentially increase skin sensitivity, so it’s always best to introduce slowly into your routine, and/or alternate usage (I.e., Use Dew Drops in the morning, and Skin Hero at night).
Can those who suffer with skin conditions like rosacea, eczema & other skin sensitivities use Skin Hero?
Skin Hero is safe for sensitive skin. “Retinol type” products can and have been used to treat those with rosacea, since retinol assists the skin in generating more collagen. However, we would highly recommend that you first do a patch test before use, and incorporate into your skin routine slowly (1-2x/week for the first week and increase as desired). “Retinol type” products should generally be avoided for those with eczema as they can trigger flare ups and/or reactions.
Can Dream and Skin Hero be used together?
Yes! However, layering active ingredients can potentially increase skin sensitivity, so it’s always best to introduce the new active ingredient slowly into your routine, and/or alternate usage.
How does bio-retinol differ from traditional retinol?
The bio-retinol in Skin Hero comes from Bakuchiol, a plant-based retinol alternative. Bakuchiol delivers the same skin-improving results of retinol - without the irritation. Many studies have shown that Bakuchiol actually outperforms retinol in increasing collagen production and reducing skin inflammation.
What makes Skin Hero different from other bakuchiol serums?
